Welcome to PdC. 
 
We are a company dedicated to a dying art – Customer Service.
 
We know that Kitchen Extract Systems, Fire Dampers and Pre Commission Duct Cleans and Certifications are necessary, but not necessarily at the top of most people’s agenda. 
 
We are simply here to own these things for our clients – making sure that they are not only compliant, but hassle-free.
 
Our business is about trust, and we believe that people deal with people.

“Before setting up PdC from scratch in 2004, Nigel’s career was in Account management for global companies such as IBM and Cisco, so customer service was a given.

Now, after more than 20 years we are definitely experts at what we do, but still our focus is on customer service above all.

Whether its Fire Dampers, Kitchen Extract Systems or Kitchen Deep Cleans, we are here to make compliance painless for our customers.

We have many customers that have been with us from more or less the start of the company. This is where I get my satisfaction. Knowing that we have provided the best possible service will the least amount or disruption.

Perhaps the biggest buzz I get from being the boss is seeing staff develop their skill and confidence. Often beyond what they thought possible

As for hobbies? I took up Horse riding in COVID and I have to say, I love it.”

“Hi, I’m Robert! I’m a Sales Consultant here at Pro-duct Clean, looking after our amazing customers—whether it’s booking in their cleans, quoting new business, or just making sure everything runs smoothly.

My favourite part of the job? Definitely customer care. I love taking what might be one of a hundred things on a client’s to-do list and making it one less thing for them to worry about. I always aim to exceed expectations and make the whole experience as easy as possible. Also… shoutout to our MD Nigel Smith, who keeps the office stocked with biscuits, ice creams and treats. He’s a feeder, and I’m not complaining.

Outside of work, I’m into CrossFit, Hyrox, and running—though my team would be shocked to hear that, since I hardly ever mention it in the office… 😉”

“I’ve worked in credit control / accounts for over 20 years. At PDC you will find me raising invoices to customers, answering account queries, chasing payments, inputting supplier invoices, arranging payments and anything else accounts related. It all keeps me busy 😊

Outside of work, I have two children who both play football, most of my weekends are spent ferrying them about & watching their games.”

“Hi, I’m Stephanie. I recently joined PDC as an Office Administrator after taking a career break to raise my family. Returning to work has been such a positive experience – I’m proud to be part of a family-run company with an amazing team that has made it so easy to settle in.

Teamwork is truly at the heart of PDC, and it’s refreshing to feel part of such a supportive environment. Outside of work, I love travelling with my husband and our two young daughters, and in recent years I also discovered a passion for crocheting. I now enjoy making clothes and teddies for my children in my spare time.”

“Hi I’m Hannah. I joined Pro Duct Clean because I wanted to work somewhere that values teamwork and purpose — and the best part is being part of an amazing team and ticking off every task on my list. It gives me a real sense of achievement at the end of each day.
Outside of work, I love going on road trips across Europe and showcasing my pride and joy, Skyline, at car shows. I’m also a huge animal lover and a keen photographer, capturing memories wherever I go.”

“I’ve worked as a Graphic Designer in agencies for 7 years. In 2023 I switched to freelancing and started my own business Kreative Freedom. Shortly after, I started working with PdC to look after their email marketing and graphic design.

“I work fully remotely running my graphic design business, which allows me to spend a good amount of my time travelling. I love exploring the great outdoors through my various adventure hobbies such as climbing, via ferrata and scuba diving!”

“I have been working with PdC for over 7 years – helping to generate leads through Search Marketing (amongst other things), and they were in fact PickUP Digital’s first ever client!

“As well as running my digital marketing consultancy, I spend a good amount of time aquascaping my 5(!) fish tanks and writing/playing music.

“I have a wife and a 9 year old son who is gaming-obsessed (Minecraft, Geometry Dash, Mario, Sonic etc) and we often spend weekends visiting various zoos/farms and anything else that gets him away from screens!”
