We’re celebrating National Pet Month!
National Pet Month is a month-long celebration of pets and the people who love them. April is officially the month to raise awareness of and promote responsible pet ownership and encourage people to adopt from shelters and rescue centres.
We love our animals at PDC and so to celebrate National Pet Month we thought we’d share our furry friends with you. They aren’t just pets to us, they are a part of our family and help boost our well being. They get us out of the house regularly, give us companionship and remind us that playing is a must do on any day.
Here’s just a few of our furry team members:
Summer is a 10 year old Border Collie and loves being outside, camping, playing with all different sizes of balls including bouncy hoppers.
Bonnie is a 4 year old Chihuahua and loves cuddles, sunbathing and hiding inside clothes (When they are on your body).
Flash is a big – 40Kg – Labradoodle who is 10 years old and he is still a little aghast at how quickly his 3 year old Great Dane mate, Scooby has grown – now 80Kg. Big, beautiful, smelly boys
Scooby and Dad three years ago
Honorary mention to the recently deceased Horris. The grand old man that inspired Scooby and Nigel’s love of Great Danes
The much missed curmudgeonly, unique old grump Horris as a pup. Look at those ears!!!
Cockapoos name is Ginger.. not sure why.. she is 2, she has the permanent zoomiess and will not allow a second without a cuddle.
National Pet Month is an important time to acknowledge and celebrate the special bond between pets and their owners, and to promote responsible pet ownership. At PDC, we understand the positive impact that pets can have on our lives and well-being, which is why we wanted to share some of our furry friends with you. We believe that pets are more than just animals, they are valued members of our families who bring joy, companionship, and laughter into our lives. So, whether you have a furry friend of your own or are considering adopting, let’s make this National Pet Month a time to celebrate and appreciate the wonderful pets in our lives.
